This allows the slider to last longer and give better feed back to the rider. The slider does not grab the tarmack but allows your knee to be placed and slide over the asphalt without catching.

The backing area is reduced to allow the slider to be moved around inside the small factory Velcro area. This allows for maximum wear and usage. The slider is also a full 3/4 inch think with a slight curve for suits with armour. With the harder plastic and the uniform thickness this allows riders to use more of the slider and get better value for their money.
