When should I put on the tire warmers?
It really depends on a number of factors. Why type of tires are you using? (Slicks, DOTs). It also depends on the track and weather conditions. Typically you'll be safe with putting them on 40minutes before rolling onto the track, though feel free to experiment. You may also wish to get a tire temperature gauge and measure the temperature of your tires as you come off the track - try to get them to the same temperature using the warmers. Don't worry, you cannot cook or "burn" your tires using BICKLE TIRE WARMERS, the temperature is controlled.

I use Pirelli tires, will your warmers work for me?
Yes, we've adapted our new tire warmers for the special needs of the new Pirelli tires.

Can I used my tire warmers to keep warm on a cold night?
No, this is a very bad idea and a fire hazard. The temperature sensor in the warmers must come in contact with the tire rubber to function. If you turn them on in your sleeping bag, you will most likely damage the cloth lining. Get a girlfriend or pet.

Are BICKLE TIRE WARMERS "one size fits all"?
No, we have specifically designed tire warmers for 125GP bikes, 250GP bikes and 600cc+ bikes. Be sure to specify which ones you need when ordering.

How much power do your tire warmers consume?
Combined, the tire warmers consume about 1000watts. We recommend the purchase of a Honda EU1000iC to power one set, or a Honda EU2000iC for two sets. Other generators work find, just ensure that they are rated for at least 1000watts of continuous power, not 1000watts of surge power. Also be careful when running long extension cords from power outlets or distant generators, the extension cord may not deliver enough power for your warmers to reach their full temperature.

How do I know if the tires are hot enough?
Touch the rim, if it is warm to the touch, then they are probably at the appropriate temperature.

How do I know if the tire warmers are on?
There is a small LED light right where the electric cable connect to the tire warmers. When it is lit, the warmers are on.

What kind of warranty do the tire warmers have?
All BICKLE TIRE WARMERS have a two year warranty from the date of sale on manufacturing defects. If you have trouble with your warmers, please contact us.
