Earning a podium finish in Road Racing is a difficult task.
It is a combination of many factors - rider, motor, suspension
and tires. BICKLE RACING is here
to ensure that you get the most out of your tires.
Simply put, there are three reasons why you need BICKLE TIRE WARMERS. Cold tearing, Corner One and Heat Cycles.
Race tires are made of very soft compounds, so soft that
when they haven't reached their operating temperature, they
shear or tear under even relaxed riding conditions. This is
most often noticed after you complete a few laps on cold tires
and they look shagged. Put your BICKLE
TIRE WARMERS on before going out, and your tires will
be flexible and soft. They stick better and you'll get more
laps out of a set of rubber.
Races are often won and lost in the first few corners of
a race. That's why it's important to have your tires at their
optimal temperature before you lean into turn one. Sure, everyone
gets a warm up lap before the race, but a few kilometers of
relaxed riding isn't enough to give your tires the traction
that you need. You and thirty other riders are going to be
pushing their way through corner one, with all the money you
spend on racing, why give up that last little edge. Your first
lap should be as quick as your last lap.
As you roll off the track, your tires are at their hottest
temperature. They immediately start to cool after your last
lap. Using your Bickle Tire warmers after a session to slow
down the cooling process can extend the life of a tire and
reduce the number of heat cycles between practice and race
sessions.
